I was recently contacted by Scarlett of Soho, who are a brand who specialise in eyewear and they asked if I wanted to try out their Free Home Try On service. Being a glasses wearer, I naturally said yes as I was intrigued by the concept. You first begin clicking on 'style finder' and select your gender, then you have to identify what your face shape is and finally skin tone. I went for oval and fair. It then auto selects a variety of glasses that they recommend fit you. You can also just chose your own to try for yourself, you don't necessarily have to go for the recommended ones. I found this whole process very quick to do and the website very easy to navigate as well.
Then after a few days, a small box arrived in the post with the 4 pairs of glasses neatly packaged inside. I really liked the shape of the ones above, so I tried a few colours of them on, all of which I thought actually suited me, which as I've mentioned in a past post, when I was younger I found trying/buying glasses was such a chore and a pressuring experience. Whereas this service really tackles that issue for me. Not having to worry about sales associates or your parents standing around waiting 'Hurry up and pick a pair!' and being able to try them out in your own time, so that was a brilliant factor for me. I particularly was drawn to the pair shown at the start of the post, I really liked the style and the colour of them and feel like this shape really suits my face. I have an awkward face where my nose is quite big but my face is small so glasses and sunglasses shopping is such a long process haha! But after trying this out, I now know what style to look for for myself so I'm very happy about that. After you have tried them on, you box them back up and send them back and if you choose to purchase them then you can do so. It is all simple explained and illustrated in the box when it arrives.Overall I found the experience to be really good, well-organised and hassle free which was ideal. The website have a varied collection of products in different styles, shape and colours for you to chose from so you can experiment as you please. Definitely a brand I recommend for you all :)

That's actually a pretty good idea I think! I'm not a glasses wearer but I can imagine it being quite tough to decide on a pair so this would help with that! xxx
