Time For A Change

How gorgeous are these flowers I got off the bf's family for graduation?!! Love them! <3

Hello lovelies!
For a long time I had neglected my beloved Blog due to University, Work and Life in general but now that University is out of the way and I am getting used to having more hours at Work (Yay! More money!), I now have more time and energy to come back into the Blogging world and give it more of a go. I had stated a while ago in my Blog's 2nd Birthday that there was a few changes I have been wanting to make to VioletDaffodils and now I can finally begin to put those into play. If you are extremely observant, you may have already started to notice a few of those changes already, although they are small they have made a big difference to my content which I'm loving!

Design:
As I'm naturally a creative person I really want to take this Blog and challenge myself with it by not just relying on someone else to design things for me but to actually go out of my way to learn the skills, learn the techniques, create my own designs and teach myself how to apply them to produce a new (hopefully better) appearance of my Blog. In doing so this is kind of taking small bits of what I've learned at University and applying it to something I enjoy creating and learning some valuable skills along the way. Hopefully this will give the desired effect that I have been longing for for months. I know this will take a long time but I want to take my time with it, I don't want to rush it and make a mess. I find it so much more rewarding being able to step back to observe and be proud to say "I made all this!" and that is what I'm aiming for :)

Content:
This is another big thing I am wanting to work on as well. I got a bit carried away with wanting to show outfits and travel diaries and don't get me wrong I enjoy putting them together but I feel this Blog needs an injection of more of my other interests too. I want to keep content fresh and varied but more often than not I find that my Blog has become another outfit post after another outfit post which has got so tedious and made my Blog seem bland. I've decided to really make more of an effort and embrace more versatility so I hope you enjoy the new content as well as the old. I want it to be "I wonder what she will post next?" keeping it curious, keeping it intriguing. I realise that some of it will not be catered to everyone but that's what I'm looking forward to, embracing new challenges and the result :)

I want to thank you for your ongoing support, I've recently hit 200 followers which is AMAZING! Thank you so so much I appreciate every comment and follow I get, big love to you all! <3

Hey Graduate!

Hello lovelies!
A few of you may already know this but I had a bit of a struggle towards my last few weeks of University due to one of my tutors telling me my work was not good enough to pass my degree and I was very worried that I wasn't going to pass my degree in Illustration & Design, however in my last post when I was on holiday I got my results and I did it! I passed University! Although my results were not what I had wanted, on the day I had felt so proud of myself for not giving up when things were difficult and keeping myself together, also I felt like I had done my family (especially my Mam) proud and they were all so understanding and supportive. It was just such an amazing day! (Sorrynotsorry for gushing so much!) One of the sweetest moments of the day was when my Granddad saw me, he started to tear up! Awww <3 I am so lucky and blessed to have met so many amazing, lovely and funny bunch of people in my 3 years at University. Even though people had their own separate friendship groups, as a class we all got along so well and we all supported each other and had a laugh together which I think is something that is very rare these days. So thank you to those who were in my class, I'm so pleased to have met them all and so proud that we all made it! And no matter where everyone ends up, I wish every single one of them the best success for the future <3
I also want to say a massive thank you to those who sent me congratulations and best wishes,
what a lovely bunch you all are! <3

TRAVEL: TURKEY DIARY

Hello lovelies!
I have recently been away to Turkey with the bf for some well deserved relaxation after such a stressful final year at Uni. I was away for 2 weeks in an area called Fethiye which I had never heard of previously but it was lovely. My favourite thing was the gorgeous sunsets (my camera is literally spammed with so many photos of it haha!).

In between lazing by the pool, I had visited the beach too, normally on holiday I don't like days at the beach as the wind blows sand everywhere and it sticks to your body and feels awful, but I was pleasantly surprised by the beach here and enjoyed that loads. I also watched one of the World Cup matches and did the 12 Island boat trip which takes you on a tour and you can jump off the boat into the sea which was exhilarating! Followed by visiting the Turkish Sunday market to score myself a genuine fake Mulberry ;) The salespeople there are very entertaining with the funny expressions they say, like: "Genuine fake watches! Cheaper than shoplifting!"
Also whilst I was away I got my University results and after many months of stress I did it! I will be graduating! I am honestly so relieved! The day I got my results was just a blur of emotions but at last the wait is finally over and I could not be happier! Thanks again to everyone who showed their support, it really did mean so much to me and I really appreciate it!
Take care <3
