Exciting news, my cousin got married this weekend!
The gorgeous wedding was held up in the remote countryside of College Valley, right on the outskirts of Wooler with a beautiful backdrop of the rolling hills and fields. The ceremony was held in the intimate setting of Cuddystone Hall with my cousin and her bridesmaids arriving in style in a VW camper van each holding a button bouquet, with the bride walking up the aisle to the acoustic version of Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles. We were all shedding a tear at how stunning she looked in her beautiful wedding dress and watching her and her now husband exchanging their vows to one another.
The wedding reception was held in a bright white marquee next to the building with the tables laid out and decorated with bunting and brightly coloured flowers. Table 2 was the place to be for us ;) And we laughed and cried at the wonderful speeches given by my Uncle, my cousin's husband and his best man. After the speeches and the food, the evening began with drinks flowing and having a laugh among old friends. The hall where the ceremony had been held previously had become a dance floor with a live band performing on the stage to us all. They were brilliant and I had a great time having a boogie with old friends of the family to brilliant covers of crowd favourites.
It was an incredible day, a beautiful ceremony and I'm so lucky to have been able to witness their special day. Congratulations to the gorgeous couple! I am so thrilled for my cousin and her husband that they have found their happily ever after <3
