What's In My Advent Calendar 2017: NYX Professional Make Up Kiss & Tell Advent Calendar

I decided again for this year's advent calendar to opt for another non-chocolate related one, as I haven't really craved it over recent years. After trawling through countless websites for advent calendars that had products inside (and gasping at the prices!), I finally landed on this one by NYX: the Get Lippie Countdown advent calendar. As already a big fan of the brand from jumping on the lip lingerie hype and contour palette, I thought for the run up to Christmas I can branch out on my NYX product knowledge and from my usual go-to products and try some new and exciting lip products, with the hope of finding different and interesting colours and textures that I wouldn't usually go for to explore and experiment with, which in doing so could potentially find myself buying the full sized product of the ones I love the most later down the line.

The products included: Lip Lingeries, Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks, Soft Matte Lip Creams,  Chubby Lip Creams, Creamy Lip Lipglosses and Matte Lipsticks, all displayed in this gorgeous black packaging with lip illustrations on each of the 24 doors to represent the colours of the lip products inside. It was originally sold at £40 which compared to some advent calendars is pretty reasonable in comparison, however I managed to use a voucher and get £10 off so for all these products for £30 is really good value. Here are the lip products and colours inside:
Days 1-6
Days 7-12
Days 13-18
Days 19-24

Overall I'm really impressed with it. It's good value for money and provides a great variety of products in different textures, colours and consistencies. My personal favourites are the pink nude glosses, the red lipsticks and lip lingerie and the brown/dark pink nude creamy lipsticks. Some of the more either darker or bold, brighter shades didn't suit me unfortunately but it was good to experiment and see what works and what doesn't. I'm going to keep the ones I like and hopefully repurchase full sized ones once I've used them up and gift and donate the rest to friends and family. I'm happy to have found myself some new and exciting products to try going into 2018!
