What's In My Mulberry Bayswater Bag

Hello lovelies! :)
AHHH! It is finally mine at last! A long time ago I did this kind of post on Dans Mon Satchel blog, which showed my 4/5 year old Topshop bag (R.I.P.) before it eventually ripped from my recent travels. I had searched high and low for a new big green bag (Yes it HAD to be green!) and so after seeing this Bayswater Mulberry beauty of a bag on my trip to Belfast at the start of the summer, I have lusted after it ever since, so after my birthday I saved up all my pennies and treated myself to my beautiful green baby, aka. MULBS! So to honour my wonderful green arm candy here is a more updated version of this post for my lovely readers.

Is it possible to be in love with a bag?! ;)

Hello September

Hello lovelies!
When I think of Autumn, I automatically think of this beautiful picturesque area of Cumbria that I used to visit time and time again with my family when I was younger to collect conkers and take in the scenery. I have so many fond memories of this place and eventually felt that it was time to visit it now that I am older and took my bf to see it as it is a very special place to me. I drove there and it was possibly the longest road trip I have ever done to date too which was a nice achievement. I always like to wrap up really warm for these trips as it usually is rather cold given the time of year it is. We had a wander round taking in the sights and enjoying the sound of the leaves crunching under our feet before having a cheeky hot chocolate with marshmallows before a long drive home. A particular highlight was befriending some ducks and swans and trying to get a photograph throwing leaves everywhere haha! Success ;)

TRAVEL: MY 21ST BIRTHDAY DISNEY DIARY

Hello lovelies!
I apologise for such a long wait but I have been very busy with my final few months of University, but I have finally put together my Disney photo diary for you all to enjoy! (Hooray!)
As some of you may have heard, last summer I went to DisneyWorld Florida for my 21st birthday, it was honestly the most amazing experience/holiday of my life! I did so much over there and made some amazing memories. I really hope you enjoy this post as this is by far my most favourite Blog post ever and I really hope you enjoy all the photographs :D At the end of the photographs I have explained what I did throughout the variety of places I went to, so hope you enjoy reading! <3

TRAVEL DIARY: BELFAST | TAP O' THA MARNIN TEE YA LADEE!

Hello lovelies! :)

I have been away to Belfast for a few days with a few friends from Uni to go and visit our friend Max who lives over there. I had such a great time and feel like I've grown a lot closer to those I went with. Here's a few snaps of my trip, enjoy! :D
I have had such an amazing time, I always find I'm more relaxed when I'm away and enjoy a change of scenery, good company and a great atmosphere. This trip just emphasises how much more I want to travel after Uni. Hope you all have a brilliant weekend!

Garden Party!

Hello lovelies!
Yesterday I decided to do something I don't think I've ever done before and host a party at my house. Normally when I get together with my friends from Uni we tend to have a house party on the evening at Mat's house but this time I thought it would be nice for them not to host and do something a little different. The weather was so warm and sunny it made it the perfect day to relax in the garden with a few bevvies and come up with some made up drinking games involving a football we found. We decided to play catch, whoever dropped the ball had to drink until the next person was out, followed by using the trees as a goal post and if we scored the goalie had to drink and if we missed we would have to drink and then we played the classic game of Stuck in the Mud which was hilarious!
To top off the best day of the summer so far, we ordered an absolute BEAST of a Domino's pizza!
It was such a brilliant day, I laughed so much with the gang. I feel a very very happy lady! :)

Riverside Park

Hello lovelies!
I went to Riverside Park to wander around as I have never been before. I like to go to different places to explore. I think a change of scenery is always a good idea now and again. I think the park is such a lovely place, the park has so much open space, lots of greenery and the river itself is beautiful. It seems to be a big fan of dog walkers too, So many cute dogs arounds :) The key factor to my trip was of course the animals! Down by the riverside there was tons of swans and ducks. I was in my element! Ducks are one of my favourite animals, they're just so cute! I could sit and watch them all day as I find it so relaxing. I also couldn't resist paddling my feet in the river to cool off on this very hot day. Bliss! After the walk along the riverside, we then decided to chill out on the picnic benches and munch some tasty burgers and slurp on some blue slushies, it was so delicious! :) After refuelling I then lay on the grass in the park and basked in the sunshine. All in all an amazing sunny day out :)

Friday Night Gentlemen, It's On!

Hello lovely people! :)
Just before Uni finished for the summer I decided to purchase this little lovely from Topshop. I think kimonos are so beautiful to wear and are perfect for the summer when the air is not so cold on the evening to through over a dress or a top and jeans. I was drawn to this due to its gorgeous pattern and colour. There is also a jumpsuit with the same pattern and material too which I'm in limbo about buying as well. I think kimonos are a key piece to any wardrobe as they fit any occasion. I've worn mine to meet friends for drinks and also with family having a meal at a restaurant but I can also see myself rockin' the 'mono on a lovely sunny day out or at a special event like an engagement party or a birthday night out too. Another fan of the 'mono is my Mother, as she has an obsession with anything oriental! I think I might have tempted her into buying the same one for herself, Haha! Twinnies! ;) Anyway I shall leave you all to see who else enjoys wearing his 'mono: Click (New Girl fans will appreciate!)

Take care of yourselves!

We'll Have A Dalmatian Plantation

Hello lovelies!
I purchased this 101 dalmatian jumper as I have had my eye on it for a while (who doesn't love Disney?!) and noticed it had gone in the sale so thought I would treat myself. I was pleasantly surprised actually as I thought it would feel quite rough material and be quite heavy in feeling but it is the complete opposite! It is very soft and feels light enough to wear all year round. It is something I could wear both out during the day with a pair of leggings and also at home teamed with some joggers to cuddle up in bed watching a dvd. A very appealing quality to my purchasing haha!
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Let's Go to the Beach-each, Let's Go Get Away

Hello lovelies! :)
I visited the local beach as I needed to take photos for my University project so I decided to make a day out of it. I really like the beach near where I live and whilst I was there I had to take a few snaps of the place as research for my project, so I thought I'd share with you a few that I took, I particularly like the mermaid that someone made in the sand, very creative! Hope you are all having a good day! :)

Zine Magazine Launch Party

Hello lovelies! :)
At the start of this month a guy called Tom and his girlfriend Bex decided to create a magazine called Zine to which they asked for illustrators from the North East to submit work to a chosen theme and those who submitted straight away got space in the magazine and included on their facebook page. I was lucky enough to get my work sent off in time so I was actually featured in it, which I have shown below. I was very excited about this to get my work seen even just a tiny bit is always helpful and it is something to add to the CV which is an even bigger bonus :) Yesterday evening they hosted a small party to celebrate the launch of their new magazine.
As you can see there was free copies of the Issue dotted around the venue and lots of sweeties!
Everyone was really friendly and it had just a pleasant vibe which is always a good thing!
I also helped with the promotion of the launch a little in taking photographs of the event too :)
 (There's me at number 14)

Daffodils, Daffodils, Daffodils :)

Hello lovelies!
After celebrating my Blog's first birthday I ventured out into the garden as it was a lovely sunny day and took some photees to show my pretty new dress from OhMyLove. I might have to name it the 'Smarties' dress as it's what it reminds me of :) I think it is no surprise to you all that Daffodils are my favourite flower so how else would I celebrate my Bloganniversay than by taking some photos with some. Luckily my Grandad has a hobby of gardening so they always bloom this time of year :D They always look so gorgeous, especially when the sun is out :) In the future when I have my own house I will have a garden full of Daffodils! :)
I want to say a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE THANK YOU!! For the support on my last post but mainly my Blog has hit 100 FOLLOWERS!! That is absolutely insane! Words cannot describe how amazing a feeling that is to me and I feel so flattered that many people enjoy my Blog :D
So thank you so so so much and go out and treat yourselves for being such lovely people! ;)

The Luck Of The Irish

TOP O' THA MARNIN TEE YA LADDY!
(my attempt at the Irish accent!)

Yesterday was St. Patrick's Day so my friend Lucy and I decided to go out and celebrate it as we have both never done so before (shameful). Revolution Bar had a few special drinks just for occasion. After Revolution we then decided to venture into a new bar called Life Of Riley's who had a live Irish Folk band playing for a few hours. The music was really good and very upbeat, they even played such songs like 'A Town Called Malice' too which was a good mix. Then after they finished their set, the DJ played old classic tunes like The Venga Boys and S Club haha! Loved it! :D
I made it a mini goal of the night to get one of those big hats and as you can see it was a success!
In true St Patrick's Day fashion, we also got ourselves a pint of Guiness to toast Wor Paddy ;)
I have never tried it before actually but found it to be really smooth and tasty :)

Hope you all had a great St. Patrick's Day too! :D

Denim and Floral

Hello lovelies!
After having such a hassle with the purple hair I decided on Sunday to dip dye my hair again so now I'm back to being a half blondie ;) I also rediscovered this floral dress that I bought from River Island a few years back lying around in the depths of my wardrobe after clearing out some bits and pieces and decided give it a much needed day out. I usually team this dress with a denim jacket but as the weather is still a little too warm for it, I decided to try out a more casual approach and team it with my denim shirt. Personally I quite like this casual look, I love when you find new ways to vamp up an old item of clothing. I'm definitely going to wear this outfit more often :)

Note to self: Should tidy my room before taking any outfit posts
Before that though, I also wore this denim shirt a different way earlier in the week too. I decided to give the old 'double denim' look a try. I read in Company magazine that one of the best ways to style double denim is to have the lighter colour on the top half and darker on the bottom so that's what I did. I finished off the look with these beautiful gold sequinned boots. I absolutely adore these!
Also I will also be hosting my first ever giveaway very soon so keep your eyes peeled! :D
